We recently notified the community of a proposal to realign the locality boundary between Lakes Entrance and Kalimna.
We also invited the community to provide feedback on this proposal.
Having considered all the feedback received, we have made a final decision to accept the locality realignment proposal.
The realignment proposal will now be submitted to the Registrar of Geographic Names for consideration and inclusion in VICNAMES – the Register of Geographic Names.
Once the realignment proposal is endorsed by the Registrar and registered in VICNAMES, we will complete the implementation process for the locality boundary realignment and notify all relevant authorities, affected property owners, and update any signage accordingly.
