For the first time, our Council Plan brings together the Municipal Public Health and Wellbeing Plan (MPHWP), creating one integrated roadmap for a healthier, stronger community. This integration was approved by the Secretary of the Department of Health under Section 27 of the Public Health and Wellbeing Act 2008, ensuring we meet all legislative requirements.

This combined approach means health and wellbeing priorities are now embedded across everything we do. Look for the ❤ symbol throughout the plan - these mark the focus areas dedicated to improving community health and wellbeing.
