Nestled in the foothills of the magnificent Snowy Mountains, Swifts Creek Caravan and Tourist Park is located at 11 McLarty Road, Swifts Creek, just off the Great Alpine Road.

About Swifts Creek Caravan and Tourist Park

The park has both powered and unpowered sites, along with a range of facilities for the weary traveller. These include showers and toilets, a large undercover fireplace area (suitable for groups), undercover barbecue, and children's playground.

Within easy walking distance to the township, head over to the bakery for fresh bread and other yummy treats.

Play a round of golf at the Tambo Valley Golf Club, or in warmer months take a dip in the outdoor swimming pool.

Tariffs

Unpowered site - Off peak: $18.00 flat rate per night - Peak: $20.00 flat rate per night

Powered site - Off peak: $28.00 flat rate per night - Peak: $32.00 flat rate per night

Maximum 6 people per site, no additional cost for extras.

Terms and Conditions

Check in / out times
  • Check in is after 10 am.
  • To be checked out by 10 am on day of departure.

 

Fees
  • All fees are to be paid on arrival if not already paid upon booking.
  • All visitors staying on your site must be paid for on arrival.

 

Facilities
  • Amenity Blocks – Please consider conservation of water. Be quick and clean.
  • Young children are to be supervised in the showers.
  • Laundry facilities are provided. Please respect these facilities and report any issues to the Community Centre.
  • Please report and damage or uncleanliness to Council via feedback@egipps.vic.gov.au or (03) 5153 9500.
  • No riding of bicycles, skateboards, scooters etc. in the vicinity of the amenity blocks.

 

Noise
  • Please respect your fellow campers by keeping noise levels to a minimum. All excessive noise must cease from 10.00 pm. Noisy groups will not be tolerated and your camping permit may be cancelled without refund if the noise persists. Please report any noise disturbances to (03) 5153 9500.
  • Portable generators are not permitted.
  • As the site-holder you are responsible for your visitor’s behaviour and language. Do not let them be responsible for you being asked to vacate the park.

 

Setting up your campsite
  • Due to CFA and safety regulations please set up on the left hand side of your site and ensure your draw bar is not blocked.
  • There must be a car space between you and your neighbour.
  • Tow bars MUST face to the roadway your site is located on.

 

Site Condition
  • Please leave your site clean. Sullage from caravans is to be drained to waste facilities provided.
  • Cars and boats are not to be washed in the park. Flushing of boat engines is accepted.
  • Please do not encroach onto adjacent sites.

 

Pets
  • It is your responsibility as a pet owner to ensure the behaviour of your pet is safe.
  • Dogs must be on a lead at ALL times while on park grounds.
  • Dog mess is to be cleaned and barking kept to a minimum.
  • Please do not leave dogs unattended.
  • The Ranger frequents the park and will seize unattended or dangerous dogs.

 

Electrical Safety
  • Are your leads safe? All leads that are plugged into the park power heads must be 15 amp and must be tested and tagged for electrical safety, otherwise they cannot be used.

Camp Fires
  • There are to be NO fires to be lit during periods of total fire bans. The CFA perform routine inspections during these times and will issue infringements.
  • All fires outside of fire restrictions must be lit in a constructed fire pot/drum with legs holding it at least 30cms above the ground.
  • You will need to supply your own wood and drum.
  • Park staff have the right to extinguish fires if they are not safe or left unattended.
  • Please ensure you take notice of current CFA rules and regulations and adhere to those rules.
  • Ensure children are watched at all times near fires.

Road Safety

This is enforced by Victoria Police and could carry a fine.

  • Bikes, scooters and other recreational equipment are not to be ridden around the park after dark.
  • Helmets must be worn while riding bikes and scooters in the park.
  • Please ensure your children adhere to these rule at all times.
General Safety 
  • As a site holder, it is your responsibility to ensure the safety of children and others on your site and those around you. Please ensure children are supervised at all times.
  • Please ensure children are supervised at all times, this includes while they are in recreational room and in the amenities.

Emergency Evacuation

In the event of an Emergency please make yourself aware of Assembly Areas on the park map provided.

By paying the site fees, guests agree to abide by above terms and conditions of stay.

East Gippsland Shire Council reserve the right to evict any Guest without refund or prior warning if terms and conditions are not abided by.
