Community Grants funding is available in two categories: Community Projects and Arts and Heritage. Some of the grants require a dollar-for-dollar contribution, half of which can be a non-monetary, in-kind contribution.
Grants are available to community groups, clubs, facility managers, event managers and, for some arts and heritage grants, individuals.
Council offers two rounds of applications each financial year, generally opening in January and June.
Please read the guidelines below and call our Community Development Officer on 03 5153 9500 if you have any questions.

East Gippsland Shire Council is excited to be partnering with GippsTech to deliver a Digital Confidence program for our business owners in the region, aiming to raise the confidence of local business operators to adopt technology and find new ways to grow and develop their business.
This project is jointly funded by the Victorian Government and Commonwealth Government under the Federal/State Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements.
There will be a series of seven workshops held across the Shire, including one online session.
After attending a workshop, up to 50 businesses will receive one-on-one personalised mentoring support.
