Do you want to be a Councillor for East Gippsland Shire Council? To be able to nominate as a candidate in this October’s election, you must first take part in mandatory training.

This is a requirement of the Local Government Act 2020.

It also applies to any sitting councillor planning to nominate in the upcoming election. The training is online and takes about an hour. You will need to register so the Victorian Electoral Commission can verify you have completed the training.
