Our local studies room, located at Bairnsdale Library, is a collection of printed material of social and historical significance to East Gippsland. Items are not available for loan.
Ask the staff members at the Bairnsdale Library for access or request items to be viewed at other branches.
We also have a significant collection of digitally available resources.
The Seed Library is available at each of our libraries across the region, including Mobile Libraries. Library members can borrow up to three seed packets at any one time to plant and grow in their home gardens.
This opportunity is ideal for those with a passion for plants, who enjoy sharing their knowledge and connecting with like-minded people.
Monthly workshops are held at Bairnsdale Library, where volunteers assist with packing seeds for distribution.
