Halls, Parks and Reserves

We manage and maintain parks and recreation reserves as well as boat ramps, skate parks and playgrounds across East Gippsland.

Our open spaces and sporting facilities provide the community with a combination of functions including social connection, health and wellbeing, outdoor recreation, and nature appreciation.

The ten-year OpenSpace Strategy provides a framework to manage and service existing public open space whilst guiding future sustainable development of our outdoor spaces and facilities.

The2023 East Gippsland Sporting Facilities Plan guides the planning, design and development of all sports facilities across East Gippsland. The plan has been used to develop several master plans for key facilities.

The2018 Bairnsdale Sporting Facilities Plan (Vol 1, 2, 3, 4) provides the direction for the future provision of sporting facilities in the Bairnsdale District.
