Apply to Amend a Planning Permit Application

To amend an application for a planning permit you must:

• Complete the Application to Amend a Planning Permit Application Form
• Pay the Fees (planning.vic.gov.au)
• Explain in writing why you need the amendment

Amend a Planning Permit

You can apply to amend:

• Conditions of a permit.
• The use or development for which the permit was issued, or
• Approved plans

To amend a planning permit, you must:

• Fill out an Amend a Planning Permit form  
• You need the same information as when you complete the Application for a Planning Permit form.

Extension of Time

You can extend a permit up to three months after the expiry date. To extend the length of a permit, you must:

• Complete an Extension of Time to a Planning Permit form
• Pay the relevant Fees (planning.vic.gov.au)
• Describe in writing how long you want to extend the permit for and why.
