During and after an emergency:

- We provide the community with warnings and information issued by agencies through our media channels
- If requested by the Incident Controller we will set up an emergency relief centre to provide shelter, food, information and support services
- We link local agencies with communities in need of assistance.
After an emergency:
- We work with agencies and communities to assist with recovering from an emergency
- We provide information from agencies to assist with recovery from an emergency.
