Available with a library membership, ePress gives readers access to a selection of magazines covering topics such as travel, food, lifestyle, health, technology, current affairs and hobbies.
Mayor Cr Jodie Ashworth said ePress was a valuable way to support the community by providing free access to magazines at a time when many households were feeling the pressure of the rising cost of living.
“We know many people are looking for ways to manage household expenses, and ePress gives our library members another way to enjoy their favourite magazines without paying for individual subscriptions,” Mayor Ashworth said.
“Whether you enjoy browsing lifestyle magazines or discovering a new hobby, you can access a wide range of publications at no extra cost with your library membership.
“It’s about making reading, information and entertainment more accessible to our community, while helping people get even more value from their library membership.”
Readers can browse current editions and available back issues on their smartphone, tablet or computer, making it easy to enjoy their favourite publications wherever they are.
Existing BorrowBox users can access magazines through the ePress tab in the app. New users can download BorrowBox from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and sign in using their library membership details.
The digital collection offers another convenient way for community members to make the most of their library membership, with reading available anytime, anywhere.
