As the highly anticipated Omeo MTB Park nears completion, local businesses across the Omeo region are being invited to help shape the future of the district’s visitor economy.
A new project is now underway to capture current and future tourism and hospitality business needs, across Omeo and neighbouring towns, including Swifts Creek, Benambra, Cobungra, Ensay, Tambo Crossing, Bindi, Tongio Gap, and Cassilis.
The local business community is being encouraged to complete a short survey before 5 pm, Friday 30 May, to help inform an investment roadmap that builds on the region’s unique strengths and opportunities. Community consultation events will follow, including a pop-up session in Omeo (date and time to be announced).
This project aims to identify current gaps and opportunities across key sectors, including:
Insights gathered will inform the development of an Investment Prospectus – a strategic document designed to attract investment, support sustainable growth, and position the Omeo region as a vibrant destination for visitors and businesses alike.
