Council has an obligation in accordance with the Local Government Act 1989, the Geographic Place Names Act 1998 and associated guidelines to ensure public safety and responsible service delivery to the community. This proposal complies with the Naming rules for places in Victoria – Statutory requirements for naming roads, features and localities – 2022.
Community members are invited to respond to this proposal before its formal consideration by the Registrar of Geographic Names Victoria.
