Due to the current East Coast Low situation, and subsequent flooding, we have made some changes to our planned Council in the community visits to Orbost and Buchan tomorrow and Tuesday.

We are mindful of the impact on the road network, and community safety. Allowing the community to respond to the flooding event without the distraction of our planned visit is our priority.

We are:

• Postponing Monday’s activities in the Orbost district to a future date. This includes the meet and greet in Forest Park.
• Proceeding with Tuesday’s Buchan visit, except for the Council Meeting.
• Moving Tuesday’s Council Meeting (scheduled for Buchan at 1.30pm) to the Council Chamber, Corporate Centre, Bairnsdale, at 6pm.
