We will have new opening hours at our Corporate Centre, service centres and Bairnsdale Library starting Tuesday 3 January 2023.

• Bairnsdale Corporate Centre: 9.00 am to 5.00 pm Monday – Friday
• Bairnsdale Library: 9.00 am to 6.00 pm Monday – Friday (Thursday to 9.00 pm subject to Libraries After Dark grant funding); 9.00 am to 12.00 pm Saturday
• Lakes Entrance, Orbost and Paynesville service centres: 9.00 am to 5.00 pm, Monday – Friday
• Mallacoota: 10.00 am to 2.00 pm Monday and Tuesday; 2.00 to 5.00pm Wednesday, Thursday and Friday
• Omeo: 9.00 am to 5.00 pm (close 12.30 to 1.30 pm) Monday – Friday; 10.00 am to 2.00 pm Saturday – Sunday (visitor information services only)

The above opening hours are on a 12-month trial, as recently approved by Council through its Service Centres and Library Service Review.

VicRoads agency services

We will not be offering a VicRoads agency service at our Mallacoota, Omeo and Orbost service centres after Tuesday 31 January 2023.

To assist community members, a list of where customers can undertake transactions has been provided by VicRoads. Alternatively, contact VicRoads directly on 13 11 71 or visit vicroads.vic.gov.au.

Our service centres have computer and internet access for customers.

Bendigo Bank agency Omeo

The Bendigo Bank has advised that it will terminate its agreement with Council to provide banking services from the Omeo Service Centre.

The agency will close at 12pm on 29 March 2023.

After a review of its operations, the Bendigo Bank has informed Council that it will close the agency.

The Bendigo Bank has advised Council it will be contacting customers directly to advise of the closure and their options.
