Drought Relief Grants

The Drought Relief grants aim to support communities to improve facilities and infrastructure or implement and develop events that benefit and engage the East Gippsland community in this time of drought .

 Drought Relief Community Facilities/Infrastructure Grants

 The objectives of this program are to support drought affected communities by supporting community facilities and infrastructure. The intended outcomes of the program are to support upgrades to community facilities such as meeting places, relief centres, community halls, recreational facilities and infrastructure.

 

Application Dates

 

Applications accepted from Monday 25 March at 9am.

Application must be submitted by Wednesday 1 May at  5pm.

 

Amount Available

 

Up to $5,000 + GST (if applicable). No dollar matching required.

Drought Relief Community Event Grants

Many members of our community are experiencing increased stress due to the drought. 

 

These grants will encourage and support communities developing events that benefits and engage the East Gippsland community during this time.

 

Events that reduce social isolation by encouraging social connections and build community resilience for drought-affected communities are encouraged. 

 

Application dates

 

Applications are open at any time for this grant category however, availability may be limited by available budget.

 

Amount available

 

Up to $2,000 + GST (if applicable). No dollar matching required.
