Streatrader - Food Stalls
All businesses and community groups who sell food at markets and events must use the Streatrader registration system.
Streatrader makes it easier for food businesses and community groups to operate in different councils throughout Victoria and can help meet your responsibilities under the Food Act 1984.
You only need to register with your main council.
Then you lodge a 'statement of trade' to allow relevant councils know where and when you will be trading.
Streatrader is also a registrations system for water carters and vending machine businesses trading in Victoria.
To register, visit the Streatrader website and create a login. The system will guide you through the process.
Council's Health Department can help you if you have questions.
