Lindenow and District

Lindenow and District includes Lindenow, Lindenow South, Calulu, Wuk Wuk, Fernbank, Hillside, Glenaladale, Flaggy Creek, Walpa, Ellaswood, Woodglen, The Fingerboards and Coongulmerang.

Lindenow sits at the centre of an intensive horticulture area on the fertile Mitchell River floodplain and services the surrounding rural district.

 

The district is home to around 300 people and some of the most productive agricultural land in East Gippsland producing top quality vegetables, meat, fine wool and dairy products.

Lindenow-Glenaladale Road Bridge Renewal Project


East Gippsland Shire Council will rebuild the Lindenow-Glenaladale Bridge as a part of the capital works program.

 

We will keep the community informed throughout the construction process using Your Say East GippslandWe also distribute information through the Coongulmerang Courier, our weekly advertisement in the local paper and an e-newsletter.

Lindenow and District Community Plan


The Lindenow and District Community Plan 2013 to 2018 was developed by the Lindenow and District Progress Association and East Gippsland Shire Council with input from local residents, workers and other stakeholders. It includes priority strategies and actions for development in the region.
