Interlibrary Loans

Please contact the library first if you have any questions about the interlibrary loan procedure or the fees that you will be charged.  
  • Charges apply to interlibrary loans and will be added to your membership card when you request an item
  • You need to pay the charge when you collect the item
  • You should only request items that are not available at East Gippsland Shire Libraries
  • Items published in the last 12 months are not available for interlibrary loan 
  • DVD, music CDs and CD ROMs are lent at the discretion of the lending library 
  • The due date is determined by the lending library and cannot be extended
  • An extra charge of $28.50 applies if the book comes from universities and other private libraries who charge us

Overdues 

Higher charges apply to interlibrary loans (up to 4 weeks overdue) and increase for loans more than four weeks overdue.

Visit the LibraryLink Victoria website. You will need your card and password in order to place your interlibrary loan request.

 

We are changing the way we manage interlibrary loans.

LibraryLink Victoria will no longer be available for requesting after 30 June, 2020 when it will stop operating.

Whilst it won't accept new requests, you can still access your LibraryLink Victoria account to view your interlibrary loan requests until 28 September 2020.
