Mobile Library Service

Mobile Library bonnet decal

Our Mobile Libraries operate at rural and remote sites throughout the East Gippsland Shire on a fortnightly timetable (public holidays and school holidays excepted).  Schedules are available at our library service centres or can be downloaded via the links below:

The following arrangement is in place in response to COVID-19

From 1 June, Bairnsdale Library will return to regular opening hours with a maximum of 20 patrons in the building. All other libraries including mobile libraries remain closed as part of a staged re-opening process.

If you need reading materials and are near a library branch, please call 5152 4225 and we will help.  You can organise a day and time (9 - 5 weekdays) and we will supply you with library items. Just give us a ring or email us on library@egipps.vic.gov.au with your requests.

All loans have been extended and are now due 31 July 2020.

This will be on every second Tuesday (marked in yellow on the above schedule).  However, as mentioned above, all East Gippsland Shire Library mobile services remain closed as part of a staged re-opening process.

How to read the schedules

Find your site on the ‘Times and locations’ list to see the weekday and time of the visit.

We will make every effort to advise you if any changes or cancellations are made.
