Twin Rivers is ‘creating the plan’

Thursday 07 February

East Gippsland Shire Council encourages community members of Nicholson, Johnsonville, Swan Reach, Tambo Upper, Bumberrah and surrounds to attend a series of upcoming workshops that will inform the development of the Twin Rivers District Community Plan: 2019–24.

In a community planning session held in December 2018, residents identified a range of expertise and information required to make informed decisions regarding their plan. This month, a series of sessions will be held in each prior to the ‘Creating the Plan’ workshop.

Council’s Director Community Strategy Kate Nelson thanked all attendees for the great turnout to workshops held in 2018 and for the time they have committed to the district community planning process.

“We encourage all those who have been on the journey with us so far, and welcome anyone who would like to join in to come along to the expert information sessions that interest them, and to attend the two final workshops on February 18 and March 4 to contribute to the planning of their district’s future,” Ms Nelson said.
