New pontoons for Luderick Point

Monday 13 November

The pontoon jetties on the south side of Luderick Point boat ramp, Bemm River, will be replaced on Monday November 20, weather permitting.

When first installed, it was identified that the original pontoons did not match the design specification.

These pontoons were kept in place to allow use of the boat ramp while replacements were manufactured.

A crane will be used to lift out the original pontoons and place the new pontoons.

East Gippsland Shire Council says there will be some disruptions to boat ramp users.

As with the recent closure to extend the ramp, boaters should be able to launch early in the morning and moor their boat on the northern jetty until the ramp is clear.
