Learn how to write grants

Sunday 10 February

Dairy farmers and residents can learn how to improve their chances of securing grant funding in an upcoming workshop in Bairnsdale.

East Gippsland Shire Council is supporting the session, which will be run by the Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal and Gardiner Dairy Foundation.

The free Grant Seekers Workshop will be held on Wednesday, February 13 from 10.30am to 1pm at the Corporate Centre, 273 Main Street.

The session is open to anyone who would like to learn effective grant writing skills.

Dairy farmers are encouraged to attend as the workshop is also an opportunity to find out about the Gardiner Dairy Foundation/FRRR Working in Dairy Communities Small Grants Program.

The grants aim to strengthen small Victorian dairy communities, helping to build their capacity to deal with local issues, and enhance existing community infrastructure.

Limited seats are available, contact council on 5153 9500 to RSVP. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
