National Disability Insurance Scheme

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is the new way of providing support for Australians with disability, their families and carers.NDIS.jpg

The NDIS became available in East Gippsland 1 January 2019.

It’s important to understand how the NDIS works and whether you are eligible to participate.

If you are, you will develop a plan with the NDIS to help you access the supports you need.

The National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) is the Commonwealth Government agency responsible for implementing the NDIS.
