Owning Our Future in Regional Victoria

You are invited to attend a Gala Dinner for business leaders and advocates of regional innovation in East Gippsland. The Owning Our Future Gala Industry Dinner will celebrate and explore the potential of regional business.

Our keynote speaker, Jillian Kilby draws her listeners to think about how to own their future. She takes her audience 10 years into the future to visualise and anticipate a thriving regional Australia.

As the winner of the 2018 NSW/ACT AgriFutures Australia Rural Women’s Award, Jillian began researching the needs of business and start-ups in regional areas. Jillian has since purchased an iconic 1880's clock tower in the main street of Dubbo and is currently renovating it to make it the brand-new home of the start-up community in western NSW. Jillian now trades nationally and internationally.

A civil engineer, industry advisor for the Engineering Degree at CSU Bathurst, and a John Monash Scholar holding an MBA and Master of Public Policy from Stanford University, Jillian has demonstrated through her life experiences that owning our future is in our own hands.

This event is an opportunity to hear from a grass roots innovator, while also a great networking opportunity for business leaders in East Gippsland to come together.
