Late payment of quarterly instalments will incur penalty interest on the outstanding amount calculated from the due date of the instalment. Late payment of the full amount will incur penalty interest in the same manner as above, as if the ratepayer had elected to pay by quarterly instalments. Penalty interest on any arrears of rate, charges or levies will continue to accrue until full payment of the outstanding amount, and accrued interest, to the date payment is received. Non-payment of rates may incur legal fees/costs for recovery.
