At Gippsland Lakes Community Health we deliver an extensive range of accessible health services and health promotion activities to the people of East Gippsland. Our focus is on improving the health of individuals and the health of the community we live in.

Gippsland Lakes Community Health has been based in East Gippsland since 1975, providing services throughout the region from our central locations and via our extensive network of partnerships. We changed our name from Lakes Entrance Community Health in 2005 to reflect our evolution into a major service provider across East Gippsland. Today we employ over 380 employees and 600 volunteers across five sites – Lakes Entrance, Bairnsdale, Bruthen, Metung and Nowa Nowa. We provide quality health care services in the areas of home care, allied health, nursing, medical, counselling, and family, youth and children’s services. GLCH has a strong partnership with the Lakes Entrance Aboriginal Health Association, which operates from the same site in Jemmeson Street, Lakes Entrance.
