We are reminding residents that green waste charges starts Friday 1 September for disposal of green waste at the landfill and transfer stations, where green waste is accepted. The fee is set at $12 per cubic metre.

Rate payers will be offered one green waste voucher annually, in addition to the hard waste voucher as part of their rates notice this year. The voucher allows for free disposal of up to 1.5 cubic metre of green waste once a year, no refund or credit if you do not use the full 1.5 cubic metre in one transaction.

There will also be free green waste disposal for the month of November to help residents prepare for bushfire season.
