Domestic Animal Management Plan Review
We encourage residents – pet owners and non-pet owners alike – to tell us what they think about our current Domestic Animal Management Plan.
Residents are being invited to have input into East Gippsland Shire Council’s next plan for the management of domestic animals. The Domestic Animal Management Plan aligns with council’s Council Plan objectives to ensure people feel safe in their communities by supporting safe, active and healthy lifestyles through a range of high quality services.
The current Domestic Animal Management Plan is being reviewed and your feedback will guide the development of the next plan.
The plan covers registration and identification, nuisance complaints, dog attacks, declared (dangerous) dogs, overpopulation and high euthanasia, and domestic animal businesses.
Once feedback has been considered the proposed Domestic Animal Management Plan, with any recommended changes, will be presented to Council for adoption.
How can you get involved, know more, or provide feedback?
Fill out the feedback form and return it to one of our Customer Service Centres or by:
- Post the form to PO Box 1618, Bairnsdale 3875.
Feedback closes at 5.00pm on Friday 14 April 2017.
