Permits and inspections.
A Septic Kit Application can be obtained from Septic Kit.
All wastewater systems in unsewered areas (including septic tanks, treatment plants and composting toilets) require a permit to install/alter the system.
A septic tank application form should be fully completed, signed and returned to Council with:

the relevant fee for either installation or alteration

a plan of the locality of the site

a site plan of the proposed installation

a copy of the land capability assessment report
