The East Gippsland Livestock Exchange is owned and operated by Council on behalf of our rural community, to provide services to the farming industry and contribute to our local economy.
Our reputable professional services are recognised through our accreditations from National Saleyard Quality Assurance Ltd (NSQA), and Meat and Livestock Australia.
Livestock care is a top priority and our management practices and facility design ensure a low-stress environment.
We provide focused bio-security practices to ensure all livestock entering the Livestock Exchange have their associated National Vendor Declarations (NVD's) and are ear-tagged with the National Livestock Identification System (NLIS).
The Livestock Exchange is located at 11 Saleyards Road ( Off Dalmahoy Street), Bairnsdale Vic 3875.
