Animal Shelter

Daily updates of lost animals currently in Council's Animal Shelter (Pound)

The Bairnsdale Animal Shelter is located at 40 Giles Street Bairnsdale and is open 10.00 am to 2.30 pm weekdays and 10.00 am to 12.00 pm weekends; telephone  03 5152 1389.

 

Volunteers from Victorian Animal Aid manage the Shelter on behalf of Council.

 

The following is a list of animals currently held at the Shelter; this listing is updated each day, Monday to Friday. If your pet is listed here, contact the Animal Shelter for more information.

8613 and 8614: Cats - Ginger (Male)
Case No 8613: DSH Ginger and White male. He was found 08/04/2015, on Morrisons Road, Tonghi Creek. He has no form of identification.

8637: Cat - Blue (Female)
Case No 8637: DSH Blue Female, found 12/04/2015 in Eagle Point. She was wearing a blue flea collar however does not have any form of identification.
8638: Cat - Tabby/White (Male)
Case No 8638: DSH Tabby and White Male, found 13/04/2015 on Gordon Street, Bairnsdale. He was wearing a purple leopard collar with black bell but has no formal identification.
