Twin Rivers District includes Nicholson, Johnsonville, Tambo Upper and Swan Reach.
Nicholson, Johnsonville, Tambo Upper and Swan Reach are four towns set on two rivers – the Twin Rivers of East Gippsland – and make an ideal spot for fishing and boating all year round. Initially an area for grazing, cropping and timber milling, the Twin Rivers region now has a population of around 2,000 people and attracts retirees and tourists as well as people who work nearby in Bairnsdale and Lakes Entrance.
