Lindenow and District
Lindenow and District includes Lindenow, Lindenow South, Calulu, Wuk Wuk, Fernbank, Hillside, Glenaladale, Flaggy Creek, Walpa, Ellaswood, Woodglen, The Fingerboards and Coongulmerang.
Located between Bairnsdale and the Mitchell River National Park, Lindenow sits at the centre of an intensive horticulture area on the fertile Mitchell River floodplain and services the surrounding rural district. The district is home to around 300 people and some of the most productive agricultural land in East Gippsland, producing top quality vegetables, meat, fine wool and dairy products.

The Lindenow and District Community Plan 2013 to 2018 was developed by the Lindenow and District Progress Association and East Gippsland Shire Council with input from local residents, workers and other stakeholders. It includes priority strategies and actions for development in the region.
