East Gippsland Shire Council is conducting a major pet registration drive to reduce the number of missing or lost dogs and cats and to ensure the community has complied with state laws in registering their animals.

Work commenced this week on the roll-out of nearly 3,000 residential street lights in East Gippsland, which will markedly reduce the Shire’s energy costs and greenhouse gas emissions.
Thursday 23 April
This weekend’s East Gippsland Camp Gallipoli event will be moved from the Lakes Entrance Recreation Reserve to the Lakes Entrance Secondary College.
East Gippsland Shire Council would like to find out if the community would like to be able to access Adaptive Technology at the Bairnsdale Library.
Submissions are invited on the Draft Revised Council Plan 2013-2017 and draft Budget for the financial year ending 30 June 2016.
