Floods

The primary response agency for all floods in Victoria is the State Emergency Service.

Council’s role is to provide critical support to communities during the post-flood or recovery stage.

Several rivers in the Shire are automatically monitored for changes in water levels, in order to provide an early warning system in case of floods. See Emergency Information Links for details.
