Works underway at Bairnsdale Visitor Information Centre

Works commenced today on roof restoration at the Bairnsdale Visitor Information Centre. The works are part of a number of refurbishments planned for the site during 2012.

Due to the nature of the works, the Centre will be closed on Sunday and Monday, February 5 and 6. Council will have temporary arrangements in place to allow visitors to access information on the days the centre is closed, with signage erected at the site advising of the temporary location.

Council has recently conducted a review of visitor information services across the Shire. A draft report has been produced, and is available for public comment from Council’s website, Corporate Centre, Library/Business Centres and Outreach Centres. Written submissions should be lodged at Council’s Corporate Centre or via email to feedback@egipps.vic.gov.au by 4.00 pm on Friday, February 24.
