Preparing for Transition to the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)

A practical user-friendly Information Session presented by Valid

A two hour information session aimed at assisting people with disability and their families start to prepare for transition to the NDIS.


Proposed sessions will be held in Orbost on the 20 September and Bairnsdale on the 21 September. Times and venues to be confirmed.


Sessions will include: 

  • Basics on the NDIS in a user-friendly format ie. what it is, who for, what it funds & how the scheme works
  • Practical ways to prepare for and manage the transition to the NDIS
  • Latest updates on the scheme

These sessions are part of VALID's Families as Planning Partners Program

The program suits all ranges of abilities and runs during each school term.
