Performance by local state secondary school musicians. Groups include Strings, Swing Band, Junior, Intermediate and Senior concert bands.

The State Secondary Schools’ Music Festival is an annual event in East Gippsland. Over 300 dedicated and passionate music students from Lakes Entrance, Bairnsdale, Swifts Creek and Orbost Secondary Colleges will attend our College for four days of intensive and demanding workshops. During that time they will be guided by highly specialised music staff. This experience will challenge each student musically and result in improved skill, cooperation, increased knowledge and friendships. Bringing together the music students of the region is also an excellent opportunity to overcome the barriers of distance and provide the opportunity for students to perform in groups much larger than they would otherwise have the opportunity to perform with.
