Memberships

Fitness
The Bairnsdale Aquatic and Recreation Centre has over 25 scheduled classes a week catering for all abilties and fitness levels. Classes include BodyPump, BodyBalance, RPM, Zumba, Pilates, Yoga, Aquarobics and more. We also offer classes specifically designed for older users or those recovering from heart surgery or other serious illness, please come in or call one of our professional fitness staff for advice.

Learn To Swim
The Bairnsdale Aquatic and Recreation Centre delivers the 'Swim and Survive' swim program which has been designed by Life Saving Victoria. Download our Learn to Swim program brochure for further information.
Childcare
Our childcare service is in a purpose built facility within the Bairnsdale Aquatic and Recreation Centre. Whilst your children are in care you are welcome to either use the Centre or leave to catch up with friends, get your haircut or attend an important meeting, its up to you. Care is available for up to 3 hours from 9.00 am to 12.00 pm, Monday to Friday.

Café
The BARC Cafe is a great place to relax with a coffee and a healthy snack after a workout or to catch up with friends while your children are in lessons.
Stadium
The three court, wooden floor, multi-purpose stadium is a wonderful place to practice as a team or come down with a couple of friends for a game of basketball, futsal, netball or volleyball. Please call the Centre for court availability and costs.
Merchandise
We offer a range of high quality goggles and swim equipment available for sale at reception as you enter the Centre.
