Council Meetings

Clause L.3.1 of East Gippsland Shire Council’s Local Law No. 1 (Procedures for Meetings) empowers Council to set the date, time and place of Council Meetings. In general terms, Ordinary Council Meetings are held on the first Tuesday in each month, with the exception of  November and December (second Tuesday).

Unless determined otherwise and advised to citizens through appropriate public notice, Council meetings will be held in the Corporate Centre, 273 Main Street, Bairnsdale commencing at 6.00 pm.

The agenda for the next Council Meeting will be available from 4.00 pm on the Friday preceding the Meeting.
